Canadian rock fan Ron Bain has launched an unoffical site to one of this country's greatest bands of the early 70s Hard-rock / prog era -- A FOOT IN COLDWATER.
Although the band ceased some 23 years ago, they are still a highly respected band here, and classics like "Make Me Do Anything You Want" and "Isn't Love Unkind" still feature on classic rock stations in various parts of the country.
Ron's site features a thorough FICW history, discography, related band info, stories, pictures. The guy's done a great job, and it's about time a site to this band has been created.
A Foot In Coldwater's music should appeal to those who liked the British HR music of the early 70s - with Alex Machin's vocals, the hammond organ, heavy and acoustic guitars -- a band well worth checking into for Heep, Purple, Zeppelin, and Rainbow fans.
