I don't know why the original thread was axed, but I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd bring it back, so to speak.
At the moment, I'm reading Tales from the Vulgar Unicorn edited by Robert Asprin. This'll be when I'm through my 12th book of the year.
It's an anthology of tales from a city called Sanctuary. Quite interesting... _________________ What is against the law

I'm splitting time between two books (which is not my favorite thing to do).
John A. Karr's Rhone
Rafael Sabatini's Scaramouche
The first is a fellow writer from another forum whose book I bought in support of fellow writers and am glad I did.
The second came about 'cause I was watching the flick Captain Blood and wanted to read the book by Sabatini. Well, I went to my favorite used book shop and they had Captain Blood and The Sea Hawk and Scaramouche, all in mint condition and reasonably priced. So I snapped them up. Scaramouche is a 1945 Bantam book. A delicate read, I can tell you. |
