Comments:

A new lineup, a new album, and a new tour.  This is a complete recording and first one we have with John Sloman on vocals and Chris Slade on drums.  Half the Conquest album is played and great representation of that material is displayed.   The down side is the versions of the Heep classics, Sloman's voice just wasn't intended to do this material or his style didn't fit one.  Especially Free Me which sounds like a bad cover band.  The real treat is the keyboard solo where Ken plays a instrumental version of Do You Feel Alright which would a few months later be released on his solo album Free Spirit.

The sound quality of this recording turned out to be very good after remastering and separating the tracks into proper running sequence.  What really stands out is the length of the set, all of the sudden the band plays up to thirty minutes longer then most previous dates.  Won't Have To Wait Too Long is actually about eighteen minutes of jam, so the title should have been This May Take Too Long.
