Jeff Perkins

We are Debbie & Jeff and we live in a village called Tiptree in Essex, England.

Jeff first saw Heep in 1974 and has seen them lots of times since. Since he decided to write a biography about David Byron, Debbie got the job of photographer and independent non-biased album reviewer. Since then she hasn't stopped playing Lady in Black at full volume in the car (great bass) and Come Away Melinda. I keep telling her that there are another thirty or so years to listen to yet !

We can't wait until this year's Magicians Birthday Party where we can hopefully meet some of you Heepsters ! We would like to thank you all for all your help, encouragement and support with our project. It has taken over our lives but along the way we have met some wonderful people and of course have been busy promoting Heep.

It's amazing how many people say "I used to have loads of Uriah Heep albums".....well we do our best to make sure that they get to know that Heep are still out there.

We got married in 2000 (we'd both been married before) and the picture comes from our honeymoon in Bali. We have four children between us but none actually live with us , so we go to loads of concerts, play our music as loud as we like and when the kids come over we revert to being 'grown up'. Jeff had a small victory with his two boys recently when without saying who it was put on Live 1973....the kids said 'wow Dad who did you borrow this from !'.

Thanks Heep past and present (and future) for years of fantastic enjoyment.
