My name is Mac Steagall and here I am with my wife Debbie at Heepvention '99. I'm the administrator of the Heepsters Mailing List. I was born June 12, 1956 and I've been married to Debbie since 1976. We have two children, our son Ryan and our daughter Erin who is married and living in Florida. As of June 13th 2001, we have a granddaughter... Zia Kathryn Gibson. I've been a self-employed CPA since 1987.

My favorite hobbies are playing around with my guitars, playing and watching sports and listening to 70s style Rock music and Blues. My favorite sports teams are the Charlotte 49ers, the Carolina Panthers, the UNC Tarheels and the Charlotte Hornets.

I first heard Uriah Heep on a borrowed "Look at Yourself" 8-track. The first Heep LP I bought was "Demons & Wizard", and my first Heep Concert was in 1973 in Charlotte,NC... Still the best concert I've ever seen! My favorite Heep albums are "Look at Yourself", "Salisbury", "Sea of Light" and "Demon & Wizards". My favorite Heep Song is "What Should Be Done".

Ron Mann and I (with help from Lannis Ethridge and some other dedicated Heepsters) run the "Travellers In Time" website.
