HI! I'm Lynn Arngrimson. I was born in 1958, and I have a
beautiful daughter, Sara. I live in Lemay, Missouri, which is a
small suburb just south of St. Louis.
I work from my home via computer doing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll etc. for West County Irrigation, a small company that installs in-ground sprinkler systems. I am also part owner of CROSS Productions along with my husband Arvid Arngrimson. We build and service computers, and also record and mix music demos for local musicians.
I have played 6 and 12 string acoustic rhythm guitar since high school.
I have been interested in Uriah Heep since 1972. I remember first hearing 'July Morning' played at a high school dance by a local band. I sort of lost track of Heep when Ken Hensley left the group in 1980. I never stopped listening to those first albums though...
I, too, thought I was a Heep orphan like many of you until about three and a half years ago. Out of nowhere, I received e-mail from Ken Hensley himself. He had found me on America Online by searching the member profiles for any references to himself or Heep. I used the quote "Today is only yesterday's tomorrow." there as I still do now. Ken pointed me to Hani So's website when I asked him about some lyrics and tablature. There I found Arvid Arngrimson from Canada who did a lot of the transcribing of Heep tunes.
Arvid and I were married in August 1999, once we get through his immigration into the US. I met Dave White through Arvid and the rest, as they say, is history.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Heepsters now (Your Heepsteress Of All Time) and able to share this universal love of Heep and their music with all of you.
Lynn
