I was born in a coal town in West Virginia in July 1948. My parents and I came to California when I was 5, so I consider myself a Californian as I've lived here ever since.

I discovered Uriah Heep while serving in the U. S. Army in Korea in 1971. At the time there were only 2 albums: Uriah Heep and Salisbury. I think the song Bird Of Prey would have to be THE ONE that made me a fan. Although I like a lot of rock bands, Heep has always been my favorite.

I was pleased to discover the Heep sites on the net as I discovered there were a lot more albums than I had previously thought. Thanks to a local store, and some net stores, I have managed to collect all but two on CD. Now I'm working on collecting Heep related stuff.

I married in 1969, to a girl I met while cruising the local "strip", and we have been together for 30 years now. We had to wait 13 years for our first child, but now we have two lovely and wonderful daughters.

I work for Tenneco Packaging where I am an electrician. I have been with the company for the past 17 years.

My interests include music, of course, photography, and lately geneology. I am having a wonderful time discovering my roots.
