Bob Dreher

[Reformatted 5/03/03]

My name is Bob Dreher. Here I am 4 years after I wrote my first profile for Meet The Heepsters. It seems like much longer than that! I guess so much has happened since I first got on the web that it's hard to realize it has only been a little over 4 years ago. Not a whole lot has changed personally since then, but I have done a lot of recording with some great Heepsters that I have met since then, most notably Dave White, Mike "Muzzy" Fedysky, Graham Hulme, Mac Steagall, Joe Doran, Ken Hensley, and of course, our right hand man, Lannis! Playing on a tune with Ken Hensley doing slide guitar is a dream I couldn't have even imagined just a few years ago. I am still waiting for the opportunity to jam with John Lawton, and I know the Good Lord willing, that day will come.

My kids are now 16 - 14 - 14...yes, twins. Peggy and I have been married 23 years. We live in Danville, Illinois and I am now 44 and still eager to rock.

My greatest time of the summer of 2001 was getting to finally see the current Heep lineup twice and getting to meet and hangout with Mick and the boys. Just really fantastic people, can't say that enough. They all signed one of my guitars and I have a setlist from Mick also. The next best thing was finally meeting Lannis's better half, Bobbie! What a great gal! They are probably the two nicest people in the world, and friends for life. My goals for the future are to get back into recording more and make it to some more Heepventions (only made it to HV97 ), and maybe meet alot of new Heepsters. So any of you reading this, if I haven't met you...I certainly look forward to doing so.

God Bless, bOb.
