My name is Alexey Pavlov. I was born in 1968 and I now live in Uljanovsk, Russia. I'm a self-employed designer and work with desktop publishing in my home office. I'm not married and have no children, except my silly mittelshnitzer, Victoria .

The first time I heard Heep was in 1992. It was during a bad period in my life. It was 'The Magician's Birthday' and 'Return To Fantasy'. I think that Heep's music helped me to overcome my troubles. Maybe that's the reason I prefer this two albums,'Demons And Wizards' and 'Look At Yourself' from their other stuff.

The first thing I did, when I was connected to the Internet, was to type 'Uriah Heep' in Yahoo Search and surprise! There was a site devoted to this group! Of course, I began to load the content of this site immediately. But for some reasons I couldn't spend a lot of time on the Internet until the beginning of 1998. I tried to type Uriah Heep again and WOW, there was a great number of Heep sites now! Even one Russian page.

I never met a live Heepster before and sent a message to the web master, Vladimir Milovidov, and he replied to me! After that I sent a message to Mac Steagall's 'Heepsters Mailing List' with the subject 'Subscribe'. I couldn't even imagine how many good friends I would find on there!
