'Ello Fellow Heepsters!!

My Names Jef and I'm from Moline, Illinois...part of the Quad Cities. I'm currently 26 years of age and have been a Heepaholic (sorry Egil) since 1991.

In about 1989/90, before I had any real kind of work to make money, I was still making an allowance from my parents. Every Saturday I'd ride my bike up to the "Stop and Rob" and then down to the record store. At The Stop and Rob, they had a stack of $3.99 tapes for sale and I would look through them and always see something that caught my eye. It was Heep's "Look at Yourself". Only knowing that it was from 1971 because of the copywrite date, I didn't buy it till New Years Eve of 1990. From the 1st 20 seconds of the title song, I was blown away!! That was all I needed to hear. So I went to the record store and bought every Heep record I could find. When I found out there were solo albums from Ken Hensley, who I soon found out was writing most of the songs, I went out and bought what I could find from him too. I've been obsessed ever since!! At least that's what my family and friends say!!

So anyway, I'm a crazy f*#^er and I'll say or do anything for a laugh and I'm a big preacher of the Heep Bible. I've been on the list since earlier 2001 and as Madman say's, "You can never leave"! Works for me!!

I'm engaged to the most wonderful, beautiful woman in the world (IMO), and the big day is May 11, 2002.
